It’s back! Get ready for that time of year 🥳 Rueda at the Park, an icon of life in New York City right up there with visiting the Statue of Liberty and questioning your life choices after buying 4 slices of $1 pizza at 2am, is back! Please join us for a day of brilliant bops and bangers as we dance to the greatest Cuban music, including timba, son, rumba, and much more. Our backdrop will be, as always, Bethesda Fountain in Central Park, known for its wedding proposals, weird guys with snakes, and the best ruedas this side of the Atlantic. The day will start off at 2pm with a FREE rueda de casino lesson with Ethan, which we do to discourage people from all showing up at once. After that, it’s time for some animaciones featuring Jenny (@jenny_m_gruen), Carlos (@carlosmateudance), Liethis (@afrocusoultravel), and the whole crew! @djvspice will be making a special appearance and keep everyone moving to her music, and the whole thing wraps up only when the sun goes down :)
