Level 1 - Tanzraum Köln

MEET THE TEAM | Anna ✨ @anitschka.3 Continuing our teacher spotlight series, get to know our versatile dancer, teacher, and organisation powerhouse, Anna! Anna has been dancing Brazilian Zouk since approximately 2019 (the exact year is very unclear 😂) and Lambada since 2025, bringing an immense background in social dancing to the floor: Salsa since 2006, Kizomba for over 13 years (which she has also been teaching since 2016), alongside Urban Kiz, Samba de Gafieira, Afro, and Heels. Driven by her dedication to dance, she even stepped away from her former path as a table tennis player and licensed coach to immerse herself fully in dance. She describes her dancing style in three words: playful, musical, and joyful. For Anna, Brazilian Zouk is a universal language with its own alphabet—a deep connection that allows people to communicate and share warmth completely without words. A valued part of ZoukCologne since 2022, Anna joined our teaching team in 2024/2025 following her MAC training and serves as an integral pillar of our festival organisation team. Over the past month, she has been leading our regular Tuesday curriculum with wonderful energy and care. You’ll also find her sharing her expertise regularly across Cologne—whether stepping in as a trusted substitute for our regular classes, teaching our regular Open Level classes, or teaching workshops at dance events. CATCH ANNA IN CLASS at @tanzraum_koeln (Nippes) * Tomorrow (Tuesday): * 18:30 – Level 1 * 19:45 – Level 2 * Regular Specials: Catch her regularly across Cologne in our Open Level sessions, event workshops, and guest/substitute classes! ✨ One More Tuesday with Anna: Join Anna tomorrow evening for her final Tuesday classes of the month!
