Nashville KiSemPa WEEKENDER III

🔥 ARTIST ANNOUNCEMENT — KIKI & LAUREN ELSILENCIO 🔥 Some artists don't need an introduction to the KiSemPa family. Because they've been part of the journey from the very beginning...and boy do we have many! ❤️ From KiSemPa I, through KiSemPa II, and now returning one more time for KiSemPa III — THIS IS IT, welcoming Kiki & Lauren Elsilencio back feels less like announcing artists... and more like welcoming family home. 🏠🔥 Kiki & Lauren are Kizomba and Semba instructors based in Baltimore, Maryland. Kiki grew up dancing Afrobeats, Zouk, Ndombolo/Soukous, Coupé-Décalé, and traditional dances from Togo, West Africa. He discovered Kizomba in 2013 while living in Philadelphia and, after years of workshops, private training, and teacher trainings with national and international instructors, began teaching in 2016. Lauren's dance journey began with ballet before she later studied Afro-Caribbean traditional dances with the Duke African Dance Ensemble in Durham, North Carolina. She fell in love with Kizomba in 2016 and began teaching in 2019. Together, they bring something KiSemPa has always valued: an understanding that great social dancing isn't about one role shining over the other. Their partnership highlights the complementary relationship between lead and follow, communication and connection. And their work continues to receive recognition. At the 2026 Última Kizomba Awards, Kiki & Lauren were nominated for Favorite Kizomba & Semba Instructor Couple, while Kiki also received an individual nomination for Favorite Male Kizomba & Semba Instructor and became a 🏆 Category Winner for Favorite Male/Female Afro Soldier. But awards aside, anyone who has experienced these two together knows what they bring: Knowledge. Culture. Connection. Energy. And a genuine love for the dance that carries from the classroom straight onto the social floor. ❤️ Three KiSemPas. Three chapters. And for the final one... Kiki & Lauren are coming home again. 🏠🔥 Please welcome back KIKI & LAUREN ELSILENCIO to: 🔥 NASHVILLE KiSemPa WEEKENDER III 🔥 THIS IS IT — SOCIAL EDITION 📍 Nashville, Tennessee 📅 May 14–17, 2027 Four days. One last dance. A lifetime of memories.
